Who we are
This website is operated by Alpine Distributors, a packaging supplier based in Johannesburg, South Africa. We respect your privacy and handle your personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
Information we collect
When you send us a quote request, we collect the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number, the product you are interested in and your message. We do not run an online shop, user accounts or online payments on this website, and we do not ask for any information beyond what the form needs to answer your request.
How we use it
We use the information you send us only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and follow up on it. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with anyone for their own marketing.
Service providers
We use a small number of trusted providers to run this website and deliver your enquiry to us: Cloudflare hosts the site and protects the form from spam (Cloudflare Turnstile), and our enquiry management and email services store and forward your submission to our team. These providers process your information only on our behalf and may store it on servers outside South Africa, under safeguards that protect it to a standard comparable with POPIA.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Tag Manager and related Google services to understand how visitors use this website and to measure the results of our advertising. These services may set cookies and collect technical information such as your browser type, device and the pages you visit. They do not receive the details you type into our form. Retention and security
Your submission is sent over an encrypted connection and kept only as long as we need it to handle your enquiry and keep a reasonable record of our correspondence with you. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Your rights
Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. You may also object to us using it, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za).
